Here are few eligibility criteria for appearing for CTET examination
Candidate must have a graduation degree and passed and appearing for final year of 2year diploma in elementary education
Candidate can have 50% in graduation and have B.ed degree can apply for paper 1
Candidates who have passed senior secondary with 50% and are appearing for final year of four year Bachelors degree of B.el.ed.
So you may have to either do B ed afterwards or degree in elementary

Yes, B.Tech final year candidates can apply for CTET Examination but there are certain criteria to be eligible for that. As per the eligibility criteria, the candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 50% Marks in aggregate and have passed two-year teacher training diploma course in Elementary Education or four-year bachelor’s course in Elementary Education or two-year Diploma in Special Education or a B.Ed Degree or will be appearing in the final year examination of any of these. For Elementary stage teachers in CTET, graduation is important along with any of those qualifications in teacher's training. Then only you're eligible to appear for CTET.
