You have a higher chance of getting into top B-schools, since the top B-schools prefer the students from more diverse background. Generally all the b-school throughout the globe prefer students from different background, because the major chunk of applicants are from engineering and management background, which leaves their program a 'bit dimensionless'. So, these b-schools require applicants from almost every academic background.Hence applicants from BAMS background can give CAT or GMAT and get into top B-schools of the globe quite easily.

Following is the eligibility to appear for CAT:
· 1. The candidate must hold Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
· 2.Candidates in final year of Graduation are also eligible to apply for CAT 2019
· 3.If selected, the final year candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if she/he submits a certificate latest by June 30, 2020 from the Principal/ Registrar of the College/Institute (issued on or before June 30, 2020) stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.
4. Candidates who have completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with 50% marks.
