A candidate can take admission in Diploma and after completing the Diploma course he/she can take admission in BTech. There are several colleges across the nation that provides lateral entry provision for Diploma holders. While top institutions like IITs and NITs do not provide lateral entry provision.

For admission in B.Arch a candidate has to attempt JEE Main Paper 2 or NATA or both. He/She can get admission to B.Arch course on the basis of these exams.
