Male nursing has been a very old phenomenon in India. Those who have scored good marks in the nursing sector can find out some remarkable jobs in hospitals and care taker institutions. The minimum age shall be 17 years and the maximum age shall be 35 years to take admission in any college.

B. Sc. (N) – Bachelor of Science in Nursing

M. Sc. (N) – Master of Science in Nursing

A) The candidate must have an experience of working as a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife of equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

B) The Minimum education shall be the passing of: B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. in nursing with minimum marks of 55%.

Yes, there is a huge demand of male nurse in India and abroad especially in USA, and Gulf countries. Male nursing is a profession which can easily help you to set up in abroad. Most importantly, it’s also very convenient to apply for the work visa and emigrate in foreign countries.  When it comes to qualified male nurses, most of the developed countries like USA, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada and Australia generally look for those aspirants who have a diploma or degree certificate in nursing.

Once you complete your male nursing course from a recognized university/college, there are chances of securing your job in different forms:

a)      Home Care Helpers

b)      Nursing Aides

c)       Psychiatric Aides
