can cec get admission on b.tech is there any way to get admission in b.tech
Hello Aspirant,
I hope that you are doing well.
No, you are not eligible for Btech if you have CEC (Commerce, Economics, and Civics).
Because of this,
To be eligible for Btech, you must have Math and Physics, as well as Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a technical vocational subject.
As a point of reference, the main eligibility criteria for Jee, the most frequently approved admission examination for Btech, are listed here.
—————————————-) Required qualifications: - You must have a 10+2/equivalent qualification from a recognised board to be eligible for JEE mains.
Course Criteria required for Class 12th or equivalent
B.E/B.Tech
Passed a qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as required subjects, plus one of the following:
——)Chemistry
——-)Biotechnology
——-)Biology
----) Vocational Technical topic.
B.Arch
Passed the qualification exam with flying colours
——-)Mathematics,
——-)Physics,
Chemistry
To be eligible for B. Arch, you must have a minimum of 50% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, as well as a minimum of 50% overall in 12th/equivalent.
B.Planning
Passed the qualifying test in Mathematics.
You must have a minimum of 50% in math in 12th grade, as well as a minimum of 50% in 12th grade/equivalent overall.
Year that has passed: - One is eligible for JEE main test for three years in a row commencing from the year of appearing for the 12th/equivalent examination, i.e. to be eligible for JEE mains 2022, you must either be sitting for the 12th board exam or equivalent in 2022 or have passed it in 2021 or 2020.
————————————-) There is no upper age limit for participation.————————————-) To be eligible for JEE Main for BE, there is no minimum percentage needed.
However, yeah, to be eligible for BE/BTech at NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, students must have at least 75 percent in class 12th if they are in the General or OBC category, or at least 65 percent in class 12th if they are in the Sc or St category, or be in the top 20% of their board test.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For Jee Main 2022, the minimum percentage barrier of 75 percent - 65 percent for NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs has been abolished. It simply implies that you must have completed at least the 12th grade to be eligible.
