Nothing like that, certain companies like Microsoft, Apple and Google, dont even open for all branches except Circuital. But of course Chemical Engineering Students have a lot of options. They can apply for most of the IT/Non-Core/Finance and Consultancy Companies like PayTM, Flipkart, American Express, EY-GDS, Brillio and EXL. For most of the Core companies in Manufacturing, Chemical and Materials sector including FMCG and Pharamceuticals, like Dr Reddys, Reliance, Johnson ans Johnson, P&G, ITC and Unilever. However many of the companies like Airbus ,Tata Steel and Mercedes Benz dont open for Chemical in Manufacturing sector. So you see, a chemical emgineer does have a lot of options from IT to operations, but that doesnt mean he is eligible to apply for every company on campus.
