As per your query I would like to inform you that you can definitely take admission in Sainik schools, Military school or any Navodaya schools. Most of the seats in these schools are reserved for children from army background and for the remaining seats you need to appear for entrance exams. If you meet the marks according to admission criteria you will be admitted in any of these schools.

Also, keep in mind that the fee paid by civilians is slightly higher than that paid by army wards.

A candidate seeking admission must be between the ages of 13 and 16 on May 1st of the year in which the Selection Test is held. This applies to all categories of candidates, including those from the Scheduled Castes and Tribes.

And civilian students can get admission in Sainik and Navodaya School if their eligibility criteria is full filled.
