Yes, you can appear in JEE Mains to get admission in various Engineering Colleges of India if you are appearing for Class 12th Board Exams.
If you want to appear in JEE Main 2020 then you must complete your class 12th board exam either in 2018 , 2019 or are appearing in board exam 2020.
Apart from this the student must score at least 75% aggregate in 5 subjects of board exam or be in Top 20 percentile.
