There is no age limit for candidates to appear in GATE 2022 exam

Hello,
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an examination which is conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other institutes/universities across India.
This exam also open opportunities for entering into a research field. Next year i.e Gate 22 will be conducted by IIT, Kharagpur and the exam will be conducted on February 5-6 and February 12-13.
The eligibility criteria is further relaxed. Eligibility criteria to appear for GATE-2022 is relaxed from the minimum 10+2+4 (ongoing) to minimum 10+2+3 (ongoing), enabling even those in the third year of their undergraduate studies to appear for the examination, thus providing an additional opportunity for you to improve your performance to secure better career options.
And as per you subject which is electronic and telecommunications engineering you are not eligible for Gate exam. If you were pursuing ECE then you would be eligible.

Yes, ETCE Graduates can appear for GATE, probably under the ECE GATE Paper.
