Hello, In CSAB rounds too the seats are filled through your category only, But in case an open category seat is vacant then your Common rank list will be considered instead of your category ranking. If your category ranking is vacant then your category only will be taken in account. Hi. Yes. A general seat is actually unreserved (UR) and allocated only on the basis of marks obtained and your combined merit rank. If unfortunately all of the seats are occupied by the time it gets to you, you can take the UR seat if it is available and you rank high enough in the combined merit list.
