After completing diploma in mechanical engineering you can get lateral entry admission in btech course but not in BSC course as the minimum eligibility criteria for admission in BSc course is that candidate must have passed their 10+2 with PCM or PCB as their main subjects.

Yes, you can get admission admission in BSC degree after completing diploma in mechanical engineering from a polytechnic College. As a qualifying examination is for BSC is 12 class science subjects physics chemistry mathematics and for mechanical Engineering Diploma 10th class examination pass out student. If you have completed 12th class examination with science subjects life is constrained mathematics you can get admission in BSC degree course if I have completed mechanical Engineering Diploma course for polytechnic College.
