Yes girls can now go for the NDA examination as the SC passed an interim order the last week. Although the guidelines and other instructions are yet to come from the UPSC. But girls going for the NDA exam is finally happening. The panel of judges said that the policy of how the co-education works in our country is based on gender discrimination and the military would not do anything about the low gender ratio until an order is passed and thus they passed the interim order for the girls to sit for NDA and serve the country at a young age.

No girl candidate is not eligible for nda (national defence exam)exam.only unmarried boy are eligible to give this exam.

I am really sorry to tell you that NDA is not exam for girls only unmarried males can give this exam while if you want to join defence services then there other options for girls to join defence services like CDS, FCAT etc . Unfortunately girls are not allowed to give NDA exam and it is not for girls. I hope I clear your doubt

Only male candidates are required for nda. As per the eligibility criteria only unmarried male candidates aged between 16.5 to 19.5 years, who have passed or who are appearing in class 12 (10+2) examination can take the NDA exam.
