At this point in time, the official website states that GUJCET 2020 will be held on August 24th and we are almost 25 days away from the exam. Now if you look at KCET, it is being held by taking extreme precautions. The same might happen with GUJCET as well but again as it comes under the State's jurisdiction, every State Government has a right to take a call based on the situation in the State. So it is too early to comment on it. But of you look at Gujarat's Statistics, the recovery rate is good. As of today approximately 59,000 people have been confirmed as Corona Positive and approximately 43,000 people have been discharged. The deaths have been around 2,000. It is much better picture than rest of the States like Karnataka, Tamilnadu, etc. But again as this comes under the State's jurisdiction, it needs to be seen as how things might pan out. There must be a reason for postponing the exam only by 2 days. Might be the Government is expecting better prospects. So please prepare for the exam considering that August 24th is the day when GUJCET will be conducted.
