JEE Main correction facility is a one time facility. So the applicants who wants to correct any details must carefully check the provided data twice before submitting the application form after making all the corrections. For JEE Main April session the candidates who have successfully submitted the application can make use of the correction facility till April 4, 2021.

The details that can be corrected are

• Personal details
• Category
• Academic details
• State code of eligibility
• Language of examination paper etc.

To correct the details you need to

• Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Go to the candidate login page
• Enter your login credentials
• Make the necessary corrections
• Submit the application

If you have already made corrections for JEE Main April session you cannot use the correction facility.

Hello Aspirant,

Yes of course you will be able to do so but make sure to submit the correct details. And if you have applied for remaining attempts of JEE-Main 2021 then only you can make corrections for further attempt and the result which will be provided will be based upon your modified details and if your highest percentile was of any of the previous attempt then it will be taken in consideration along with your modified details.

And If you want to make any correction then make it before April 4th 2021, after this you will not be allowed to make any correction before application process of May 2021. Note that you will not be allowed to edit all your details but only some details which are mentioned below :

> Personal Details like spelling mistakes, in your name or your father's name or your mother's name

> Information regarding the academic details like your class 10th details or class 12th details.

> Change of Paper will be allowed means the candidates will be allowed to change their choice of paper from Paper 1 to Paper 2 (and vice versa). Both papers can also be selected for which the candidates have to pay the balance fee.

> Language of Examination will also be allowed to be changed by the candidates within the list of available options.

> Name, State of Eligibility, and Date of Birth will also be open for correction during this correction window.

> The provision of changing categories selected by candidates in the application form is also provided to the candidates. If the candidates changed their category from general to reserved, then no refund of fees will be done. However, if the candidates change their category from reserved to general, then they have to pay the balance fee.

> You will also be allowed to remove any of your image discrepancy (if required) as per the prescribed criteria.
