It depends from college to college whether you can add physical education in your best four calculation in BA programme without any deduction or not.

For example in DU in your best four you need to add the subject in which you want to do honours in. Now the best four  criteria also depends on the course you want to take. However for all courses of BA in DU adding a subject not in List A (for example an elective subject, such as Physical Education) will lead to a deduction of upto 2.5 percent marks. You will have to include language(hindi or english) and any 3 subjects from list A including the subject you want to do honours in. I hope I made things clear. All the best.
