HELLO NIKHIL
Yes, a student can appear in CAT exam with a backlog.
· You just need to select “Yes” to the question registration form that asks: Are you in the final year of Bachelor’s Degree?”
· The only rule that exists here is you have to score 50%
· The certificate from your issuing university should be submitted before June 2019. Or you can submit a certificate issued by the Principal/Registrar of University before June 30, 2019 – that would certify you as you have taken the supplementary examination and the results are awaited.
· Candidates belonging to Reserved Category have to submit a copy of the certificate while registering , without which the registration will fail.
General Eligibility:
· Students must have passed a bachelor’s degree from any recognised college or university.
· In graduation, applicants must have obtained minimum 50% marks for general applicants and 45% marks for SC, ST and PwD/DA applicants.
· The percentage secured by students will be calculated on the basis of practice followed by the university/college from where applicants have obtained the bachelor’s degree.
· Students appearing in the last year of a bachelor’s degree or proportional qualification are also qualified to apply.
· Students appearing in the qualifying exam are required to process a certificate from the principal/registrar of their college most recent by 30th June 2019 expressing that the applicant has finished all the requirements for getting the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification.
