Can I appear for the entrance exam if I scored 55 per cent marks in my 12th board exam?

You will be allowed to give the entrance test. However, it is highly unlikely that you will be shortlisted further as the institutes demand a minimum of 60 per cent marks in the board exams. Although it also depends on the institute you are applying to.
