see candidates may apply to any of the gate paper irrespective of their bachelors course curriculum, psychology is included in XH papers section. you can surely apply for XH stream in upcoming gate exam, but you have to study by self to learn the all new syllabus . you may follow the below link to down load stream wise syllabus:
