Hello Sajid,
In India, due to the policies of the government reservation are provided on the basis of castes to promote equality. As such, if you do specify your category while filling the application form, you will have to submit the caste validity certificate and also carry one along with you to counselling and also while reporting to the institute that you have got amitted in.
