Sure, you can definitely participate in the all India quota counselling for any colleges in any states, including your domicile State. No problem if you are participating in state vise counselling .you can go for both all india quota and state vise counselling.
NEET UG 2020 follows the reservation policy, which caters a number of seats to various categories. All admissions to MBBS/BDS courses within the respective categories shall be based solely on marks obtained in the NEET (UG). Candidates must enter their respective category details while filling the application form so that they can be considered for the reservation benefits.
An All India Merit List of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of All India Rank in the Merit List of the NEET (UG) - 2020 and candidates shall be admitted to MBBS/BDS Courses from the said list only by following the already existing reservation policy.
NTA will provide All India Rank. Admitting Authorities will invite applications for counselling and merit list shall be drawn based on All India Rank by the Admitting Authorities. Admission to MBBS/BDS Courses within the respective categories shall be based solely on All India Rank as per merit list of NEET (UG) - 2020.
The AIQ NEET 2020 merit list will include all those candidates who are eligible for 15% seats under AIQ, except those belonging to the state of Jammu & Kashmir. If candidates from J&K wish to opt for AIQ seats they must sign the declaration form while filling the NEET Application form . After that, on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS will conduct counselling on the basis of AIQ rank secured by candidates in the merit list of NEET.
On the basis of All India Ranks secured by medical aspirants in NEET 2020 merit list, state medical councils will prepare their own merit lists for counselling. Inclusion of a candidate in the state-wise NEET merit list depends on a variety of factors, like eligibility of the candidate as per domicile requirement, etc. Considering these factors an eligible candidate merit list for NEET counselling will be prepared. Candidates who are not a part of this list but are fulfil all the conditions of eligibility of a state can fill the NEET counselling 2020 application form for that state. Once medical aspirants have filled the application form of NEET 2020, the state will release a NEET state merit list 2020 for eligible candidates who can take part in the counselling process. The NEET 2020 state merit list will reflect state rank of candidates which will show the qualifying status of candidates among others from that state.
