Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
Mostly colleges expect maths as a important subject and a criteria for a student applying for bcom honours.
It is an eligibility criteria that maths is important and necessary in class 12th for a student to apply for B.com (//B.com) honours.
Whereas, for general bcom maths is not compulsory and is not required.
Note : Do clarify with the college’s particular course eligibility criteria.
I hope the above information helps.
All the very best.
Dear Student,
No, you cannot apply for B.Com (//B.Com) . Hons., you can only apply for B.Com (//B.Com) . without maths.
For Bcom, you don't need maths in 12th, you can apply without maths but for B.Com. hons. maths is a must. Also every university/institute has its own eligibility criteria. In SET for BCom hons maths is required. BHU Bcom hons you should have economics or maths or finance or commerce etc. So in any good institute you should have maths for bcom hons.
Happy Learning!
