Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test is an entrance examination for Second year B.Tech (Lateral Entry), B.Arch, B.Pharm, BHMCT, BFA, B.Des, BFAD, B.Voc, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch and Ph.D. programmes in 756 colleges/institutions. Earlier the admission to B.Tech is based on UPSEE score but from the year 2021 the admission to First year B.Tech is based on JEE Main score only. SO if you want to get admission in to First year B.Tech you need to appear for JEE Main and qualify in it. The applications for JEE Main April and May session are open you can apply for it till April 4, 2021. You can apply in the NTA JEE Main official website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/

See UPCET is a gateway exam for candidates to admission in various professional courses offered at the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) level at all affiliated institutes of following university,
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow,
Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT),
Gorakhpur and Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Kanpur.
UPCET 2021 score will not be valid for BTech and BArch admissions since admission to these course will be done on the basis of JEE Main and NATA scores respectively.
so you can not apply for b.tech 1st year courses based on upcet score.

The Eligibility Criteria for UPCET 2021 includes various parameters such as educational qualification, age limit, domicile, nationality, etc. Candidate must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and passed each subject individually without grace. Must have passed qualifying exam with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category) in aggregate.
