Dear candidate,
Yes, you can apply for JEE Mains 2020 as you studied physics and mathematics so out of 75 questions you will be able to solve upto 50 questions according to the model paper 2020 because, you are not aware of the concepts in chemistry that means the maximum mark you will be able to score is 200 out of 300 so, the chances of you qualifying will be less it would be better if you gain some minimum knowledge so you will be able to attempt at least few questions.
All the best.
hope this is helpful.
Hello Umesh
Of course you can apply for JEE-MAINS if you had 5 subjects with maths and physics as core subjects. The only catch is that you will have to study chemistry if you need to score good in the exam. There will not be any option where you would be exempted from answering chemistry questions. If you don't study then the maximum score you can get is 240 out of 360 if you attempt all question of maths and physics right without touching chemistry. But I would suggest, you start studying chemistry as it is easy, scoring and less time consuming as compared to physics and maths. Even if you don't want to study the whole subject, you can study certain topics which you know will surely come in the exam.
Hi umesh
Hope you're going well
