The NRI candidate can only get a seat throughNRI Quota in Medical Collegesby qualifying in the entrance examination. Admissions take place on the basis of the marksNRIis falling under the 15% category with managementquota.
A student who has studied 5 years including 11th and 12th in abroad then he is also called NRI student.
NRI students are not eligible for seats in the General Quota, instead the Seats of NRI that are not filled are transferred to General Quota.
The student must have to complete at least minimum 4 years study in India then he is eligible for entrance exams under normal category.
For AIIMS, there isn't any reservations for NRI students. You will have to answer AIIMS exam and compete with Indian students answering the exam.
NRI Quota is available for JIPMER.
Fee structure in Private Medical Colleges: General Quota: 10 lakhs INR pa, INR Quota: 30 lakhs INR pa
