can I apply for scholarship if I join ignou?
Most of the scholarship given by state or central government have a criteria that you are studying from a government recognized institution. So if you get admission in IGNOU there is a high chance that you can apply for scholarship . Although there can be exceptions.
So I would ask you to check the eligibility criteria of the scholarship you want to apply at. Also you may visit IGNOU website to get informed about the scholarships offered by IGNOU by itself.
