Dear Purvi, Pearson Vue conducts LSAT India for admission into BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB, B.Sc LLB, 3year LLB and LLM offering seats to more than 50 Law Schools in India. The online Applications have already begun and will close by May 15th, 2019. The admit card will be released from May 18th to May 25th, 2019. The exam will be conducted on May 26th and the results will be announced by June 8th, 2019. At present, the colleges accepting LSAT-India can be seen at https://law.careers360.com/colleges/ranking/top-law-colleges-in-India-accepting-lsat-india-score. However, for entrance into Law programmes in Maharashtra, you should appear for MHT CET LAW.
Directorate of Higher Education will conduct MH CET Law for law programme aspirants for admissions into 5year Integrated Law programmes and 3 year Law programmes in Maharashtra. As many as 22 Institutes participate in this programme for admissions into their colleges for 15040 seats. So for any Govt. college, MH CET Law is mandatory. The notification of MH CET Law was released in December 2018. You haven't mentioned your highest qualification so will give you the details of both 5year and 3year programmes.
The details for the 5year Integrated programme: You should have passed your 10+2 with at least an aggregate of 45% if you are from the General Category and 40% for SC/ST Categories. These Categories are defined according to the rules of Govt. of Maharashtra. There is no age limit for appearing for this entrance examination. The online applications will be available from January 10th to March 10th. The admit card will be released on the April 10th and the exam will be conducted on April 21st. The result will be declared tentatively on May 13th. The counseling will continue from Last week of June until the First week of October and the classes will commence from November. The details for 3 year Law Programme: You need to have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least a minimum aggregate of 45% if you are from General Category and 40% if you belong to SC/ST categories of Maharashtra. Again, there is no age limit to appear for this programme entrance examination as well. While the exam date for the 3-year programme has been set up for May 11th, 2019, the applications will be tentatively available from 2nd week of April until the 2nd week of May. The admit card will be released a few days later. The counseling will continue from Last week of June until the First week of October and the classes will commence from November.
