Hi,
Yes,you can attempt MCAT after your engineering degree.Basically engineering teaches you two main things i.e. work ethics and critical thinking.
Engineering students make the best transition to medical school simply because they are already adjusted to the work load. Every student thinks they are busy, but they aren't as busy as engineers.
Another big advantage an engineering degree has over the classic biology route is job opportunities, both during university and after. While a biology student might be working at an average summer job, you could be working in a engineering summer position with real responsibility. That will obviously help your application. The harsh reality about medical school is that it is very competitive so you have to consider that you might not get in right away, or ever. If you have an engineering degree you can just go off and have a good career ahead. So,according to me do only one thing.Doing both is actually a wastage of time.It depends on your interest in which field you wana make your career.
Thanks..!!
