Candidates who are pursuing their Masters degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Masters degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.

hello apirant,
ugc net exam conducted for recruitment of research fellow post in many recognised university and also lecturer post. the basic eligibility is you need to comlete your master with 55% marks from any recognized university. you may apply for ugc net at your masters final year.
