Hope this helps,
Good luck, Thank you :)
Hello student,
It is not necessary to have Psychology in Class 12th. Without having Psychology in Class 12 th you can become Psychology Lecturer or Professor using below mentioned way.
After completion of 12 th standard you can study Bachelor's degree in Psychology from a recognised Board. And then late Master's degree in Psychology. You need to appear for Teacher Training exams for becoming a Government Lecturer.
After completion of Master's degree then you can pursue Ph.D or M.Phil in Psychology if you wish you pursue.
May this information was helpful to you.
Best of Luck!!
Hey!
Yes, you can be a psychology teacher or lecturer even if you haven't studied or taken psychology in your 12th standard. You can go for Bachelors degree in Psychology first.. If you wish to teach at the university level, you must have earned a Master's degree in Psychology. You need also pass the UGC NET entrance exam. You can begin teaching as a Lecturer and then pursue a Ph.D. at the same time in order to advance to Professor. Only after earning a Ph.D. is it possible to become a Professor; a Master's degree is insufficient. To become a Ph.D. Professor, you must have finished a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with at least 55 percent grades from a recognised university or college, followed by a Master's degree in Psychology and finally a Ph.D. in Psychology.
