As you scored 99.7 percentile marks in January and if you are ok with your marks then its ok of not attending the jee mains as jee mains is conducted 2 times a year to get benefit of your marks they will take best of two so attempting is not mandatory but why do you miss chance you may get marks more than previous exam which have attempted in January take some precautions nor its ok to not to attempt the exam and its not compulsory and prepare well for the future examinations all the best for your future hope so you may get good college and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.

Yes you can leave Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) mains September session because the best of january session and September session is taken in consideration. If you willing to leave the September exam because of COVID-19 you can leave. The decision is completely on the candidate but your rank might change depending on the students who get more score than you. So if you are really worried about your safety then leave the exam but if you can take utmost care and go and write the then i would suggest you to do so.
