In India, NO. For becoming a Professional Cardiologist you need to pursue a MBBS Degree followed by Specialization in Surgery/Cardiology, MS/MD(Cardio)/DNB/MCh/Masters in Cardiac Surgery, to become qualified as a Cardiologist. For pursuing MBBS in India be it from AIIMS, Other Government Medical Colleges, State Medical Colleges or Private Medical Universities, on Merit or Management Quota, you do require atleast the NEET Scorecard for Counselling. Hence, you cannot become a Cardiologist without giving NEET.

Hi

No, you cannot become a cardiologist without Neet examination.

To become an cardiologist you need to do MBBS and then go for MD or MS in cardiology but for doing MBBS it is mandatory to qualify in NEET examination , also for admission in MD or MS after MBBS you'll have to qualify PG entrance examinations like Neet PG.

Here's a brief of how you can become a cardiologist:-

* For becoming a cardiologist, you need to become a doctor first and for that you need to do MBBS

* So, in order to do MBBS, after your 10th you need to choose science stream BIOLOGY group i.e you should have Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English for your 10+2.

*Admission in Mbbs is through NEET examination, So, along with your 10+2 keep preparing for Neet examination

* Pass your 12th with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if you belong to general category , or at least 45% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to ph category or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st to be eligible for neet.

*Appear for Neet examination and qualify it

*Then attend counselling and then on the basis of marks or Rank obtained by you in NEET examination you will get a seat for MBBS in a medical college .

* After the completion of MBBS, you need to appear for PG entrance examination, currently, some of the PG entrance examinations include:-
-) Neet PG ,
-) AIIMS PG
-)PGIMER
-)JIPMER PG.
