Can I become assistant professor in nits after. Phd in iit

Hi..!!

Hope you are doing great

Let me just tell you step by step procedure

To become a professor in IIT or NIT ( for engineering) you have to done your bachelor's degree in engineering field

Secondly you do have masters in engineering and PhD according to your preference ( mostly time masters in engineering only can work as well)

Then you have to look for the vacancy

Dear Aspirant ,

First you need to get a BTech degree.


Then you need to do Masters and a PhD.


Preferably , all of these from as reputable institutions as you can get , with good knowledge.


Then apply for faculty positions.


Then institutes usually give out advertisements, for their requirements.


You compete with others for this job ,
