The most basic requirements to become a coder is to learn computer languages and coding skills. As you have elective computer science in your course, then the computer languages will be taught you in the course or you can learn it on different websites as well. You can also learn coding at your home by visiting different websites such as udemy and Harward Edx.

The languages which you can learn for becoming a coder are hypertext markup language and css. You can also learn JavaScript for front end web development.
