Hi Om,

I would like to inform you, if you are want to become a District Forest Officer you have to clear the IFS examination conducted by UPSC every year and in order to be eligible for the IFS exam you have to complete your graduation in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Forestry etc.

Other posts that you can apply through the state forest examinations are Assistant Forest Conservator & Range Forest Officer. These posts are filled by various state level examinations conducted by each state separately each year.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
