You have the option to leave the designated seat while forfeiting the security deposit. However, once you enroll in the designated seat or college, you are unable to switch seats. Therefore, you can choose to Exit with Forfeiture and accept the seat assigned in State Counselling if you receive a seat there before joining the designated seat in Round 2. You will forfeit the security deposit during this process. You cannot leave the seat, however, if your State Counseling appointment is late and you have already enrolled at the designated college.
