can i change my category for april mains,i have given my January attempt in general category and now in april i want to change it to obc,is it possible?

Hello,
No it's not possible to change your category because first of all if you have given one exam already with general category than there must be some certificates like your 10th marksheet where your category must be mentioned as general. So, it's a kind of proof and now you cannot term yourself as an OBC candidate and one more thing is that when you term yourself or fill your category as OBC than you have to upload a certificate which proof you as an OBC candidate and all the people who belongs to OBC category have that .

mam i have obc certificate since it takes 3 months here for official to release the certificate and i couldn't therefore provide in January, and now its in my hand which is authenticate ,the rank and cutoff is going to come after april attempt so is there any possibility?i dont want to disrespect someone i really thankfull to you for your ans. but during form fillup nta doesn't even asks about documents of category,its only needed during counseling or during set for advance,(confirmed by my IIT friends ) my only mistake i did was i was in illusion that i need to give a scan at the time of fillup.
