Yes,you can change your college after completing your first year but there are chances where you should again repeat your first year in your new college and it depends on the college you are moving to.And since you are changing from one autonomous to other,obtaining a migration certificate from your previous college would be difficult.In some cases,you will need to approach the education council of your state.And your previous college may even ask you to pay the entire fee of 4 years.So,plan accordingly and make your decisions.All the best!!

Well technically this is possible but a lot depends on how your college whether it will allow your not, whether it will return your documents on time or not and lot of other things. Although you can change your autonomous college to another college after completing your 1st year of engineering through lateral entry. There are various colleges which provide lateral entry in 2nd year of engineering after completing 1st year of engineering or for diploma holders.So, thing is the options you have.
