Hello Aspirant,

Well the answer is YES.

So if I get this correctly, you have started down the path of one degree, realised it is not for you, and wish to switch to a different one?

The crucial part is, how far in to your degree are you? In most countries, you first pick a bachelor degree and then if you wish you can optionally choose a masters degree. The first one is three years and the second one either one or two years.

If you are in your first year, then switching direction is quite easy, just sign up to the new program. You will most probably have to start from scratch in either case.

SO it's all upto you have to proceed after the switch

If you are in your third year, then perhaps you should finish your current Bachelor but take a master in economics. Ultimately, it is up to you how you choose to do it.

This may help.

Happy learning!
