No, once you have applied in the form when you are filling the form for the exam that will continue until the end process. But if you still wanna change it the process might be a very long and very low chance of changing the category.

If you wanna give it a try then contact to the examination officials or During counseling if you allotted a seat then you have to report at any nearest NITs /IITs for confirmation of seat. At this stage, if you are having a valid OBC NCL certificate then you can ask them to change it but generally, it doesn't happen because the ranks and allotment are done on the basis of the category you provided earlier during the filling of exam form.

Yeah, there is a possibility to change your category but you have submit the original certificate of OBC-NCL caste certificate at the time of document verification.
