Can I continue bsc computer science course if I didn't attend 2nd semester exam
Hi Geethika,
Your question's answer depends upon your college administration. If you have skipped an entire semester then there will be consequences however, what they depend upon from where you are pursuing your BSc. Normally if you skip an entire semester there are two consequence:-
-
YEAR BACK(60%)
- SEMESTER BACK(20%)
- SUSPENSION OF DEGREE(20%)
In year back you have to repeat that year in which you have skipped an entire semester but your candidature remains to enact.
In Semester back things are the same as a year back but you do not have to repeat the complete year but have to repeat that semester. However, not all colleges offer this.
Suspension of the degree means cancellation of candidature and you are not allowed to continue your degree.
Now it depends upon your college which of the three measures they will choose.
Hope this helps.
Thank You.
Dear geethika,
Ofcourse you can continue your course as the exam you did not attend will be counted as backlog which you have to clear before the completion of course in order to get the degree when you pass out. So, the backlogs will not be a problem to continue the course and u can write the exam with other arrear students the institution you are studying will frame a schedule for that too.
Hope it helped you.
