Hello,

Best four subjects in DU need to have a minimum of 70% theory component in the exam.
The process to calculate DU best of four is straightforward. The university evaluates the highest scores of the top four subjects any candidate has obtained in their qualifying exam.
Further, when calculating the DU best of four marks, take up two academic/elective subjects from List A and List B. In case you have selected any course that is not included in list A or list B, there is a clear disadvantage of 2.5% marks.
You cannot apply for Philosophy Hons. because the eligibility criteria requires a candidate to have studied philosophy as a subject in qualifying exam.
