Cracking BITSAT is about striking the right balance between speed and accuracy.



Start answering the paper with the section youre most confident about.If you have given some time to the preparation of English and LR, its always better to answer this section first as the questions are really basic here.No matter what set of question paper you get, there are always a few questions which are difficult.However, majority of them which be simple and short.

Look for these easy questions and attempt them first, because irrespective of the difficulty level, every right answer will fetch you 3 marks.Keep your ego aside when you take the exam. Remember that you have about 72 seconds to spare per question. If anyquestion has taken more than 3 minutes, its not worth your time. Mark it for review and move on! Youll lose time for other questions which are probably a lot simpler than this one.A lot of students have the tendency to guess answers. But Id suggest you refrain yourself from doing that.4-5 calculated guesses are okay. Anything more than that is a strict NO!

You may have heard from a number of BITSians who made it through guessing answers. But remember, they are very few in number. Odds are you wont be one of them. So, dont rely on your luck!Students are often in a hurry to complete the main section to rush into the extra questions. But, it is always advisable to solve the main section calmly.If you have more than 15 minutes remaining, only then you must attempt the extra questions.
