For quantitative ability you can refer to a book by Arun Sharma which is pretty good because of its detailed explanations and variety of difficult questions. You should always start from baisc questions and jump to next level only when u r sure that your basics are perfectly strong.

For Verbal Ability you need to start reading lots of good books written by the good authors like Charles Dickens, Agastha Christie, Sydney Sheldon and various good newspapers like Hindu which will help you in improving your English literature. For vocabulary you should start learning 5 new words daily with their meaning and correct pronounciation and use them in your daily conversations so that you can memorize them properly.
