Can I create a Facebook account? Now I'm studying btech 1st year, does it effect my studies?

To create account or not is all your decision. If you get too much habit of it then it will affect your study . At this stage you can create Facebook account. But you have to control its habit . You can use it just for change. If you have control on yourself then it will not effect on your study.
