Hello,
Well, in majority of the Universities, you can't do BCA (Bachelor's of Computer Application) without having Maths as one of your compulsory subjects. But it totally depends upon the University which you planning to take admission into. Some Universities offers BCA Course without having Maths as one the compulsory Subject. But you will hardly find any University which allows the students to pursue BCA without having Maths in 12th.
There is a big reason behind this. BCA is 3 years course divided into 6 semesters and 4 semesters are relevant to Maths, that's why Maths is compulsory for BCA, if you want to purse it from a well recognised University.
Good Luck.
hi,
see the general eligibility criteria for bca course is candidates muat complete 12th course from a recognize education board with english , however in some of the colleges mathematics is necessary to have in 12th course to become eligible for admission to bca. however to study mca course after completing bca in nits you must have mathematics in 12th exam. so even if you get admission in bca right now, you would face issue while you go for higher study for not having maths.
hope you understand.
