Given below are the only eligibility criteria for taking admission in B.ED
Candidates having a minimum of 50% in aggregate in a Bachelor's Degree and/or a Master's Degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities, Commerce, or any other qualification comparable to it are eligible for admission to the programme.
Candidates having at least 55 percent in aggregate in a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology, with a specialty in Science and Mathematics, or any other qualification comparable to that, are eligible for admission to the programme.

The only criteria for admission is B.Ed course is that the candidate should have a graduation degree with an average marks of 50% from a recognized institute. So, if you have completed your graduation in Philosophy, you can still apply for B.Ed. & be trained to teach Arts subjects to students.
