Can I do BSc IT if I don't have Maths in 12th?
Hi Faizan
No, unfortunately you can't do BSc in IT if you didn't take Mathematics in 12th. It is compulsory to pass class 12th from a recognized board in order to do this course. However, some colleges may allow Computer Science or Statistics as an alternative to mathematics.
Hello!
Candidates who have completed 10+2 from a recognized council or university with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for BSc IT. Candidates without Maths subject cannot apply for IT course. In addition to that some colleges prefer candidates with Computer Science/ Statistics as compulsory subjects
Hope this answers your query.
The candidate must have studied physics chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects in his 10 + 2 class level. Without mathematics subject the candidate cannot apply for information technology course. Admission basis for different colleges are either entrance based or merit based.
