Can i do CA with BFIA through regular college in delhi ?? If yes, how can i ?? Please guide me !!
Hello Harshit. BFIA is a yet another course for the commerce students specially focusing on financial studies. Students looking forward to grow in finacial sector may take this course.
If you have already opted for this course and want to pursue CA then you should must know these points:
-CA is a much different course than BFIA. Although the main route is commerce and the subjects are also common to some extent. Like economics , business studies, accounts etc but it will be very vast in CA.
-You can obviously do CA along with BFIA , but it can give you a burden, because the syllabus of CA is very vast and it gives you the full information about its subjects. So you will find so many chapters or books common in both the courses, which will make your CA course a bit easier but not by too much.
-First of all you will have to clear the first stage that is foundation, but if you have completed your graduation then you can directly come to the second stage which is intermediate.
-And foundation the subjects are: accounting, business management, quantitative aptitude (maths), law and economics.
-After that in intermediate there are two groups group 1 and group 2. Four subjects in each group.
-In group 1 subjects are as financial accounting, law, cost accounting and taxation.
-In group 2 subjects are as, advanced accounting auditing, direct tax , indirect tax and cost management.
-And their are almost double the syllabus in finals which also consists of two groups.
-Also the main point in this is that there is no limitation of number of attempts you take to complete CA.
-Talking about the fees then it is very nominal which will not create much burden on you.
-The books and study material you will get from the institute by itself.
Also if you are in Delhi then it is an advantage for you. The main or the only institute for Chartered Accountant ICAI also has a branch in Delhi and you can find a number of coaching centres for CA in Delhi. There are so many chartered accountants present there who can guide you. You must visit these institutes and join special classes for CA.
So all the best for your journey, and may you get success in your life.
CA can be done along with any bachelors degree. So yes you can pursue CA while studying BFIA.
The first step is to register for CPT. The registrations start from 4th April and last date is 24th April 2019. The only eligibility criteria for CPT is that you must have completed your 12th/ awaiting results.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
All the best!
Because i hve taken advice frm relatives and they said that ca can be done only with correspondence college !!
See I agree CA is an extensive course and requires a lot of time and effort. But as far as college goes it can be tackled with CA. Generally all colleges start in the morning and end by Max 12. So all the tuitions also follow this and have their classes scheduled accordingly. Yes your schedule will become hectic but it isn't anything you cannot manage. Further more syllabus of college and CA tends to overlap a lot. So that is an added advantage. And I myself am a CA and have done it along with BBA, so I can say all this from personal experience.
Even when you go for your job selection, the college you mention in your CV might distinguish you from others holding similar degrees.
Yes harshit you can clear your doubts either through the comments section of this question or by posting a separate query.
