You simply need to have the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department evaluate your records to discover what subjects you have completed can be authorized to Chemical Engineering. From that point, you would be prompted what subjects you need to join up with to begin your ChE course.

Eligibility to become Chemical Engineer

• For taking up Bachelor's degree courses in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry, the student should pass Class 12 in the science stream.
• For a master's course, Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or a related field is obligatory.
• For taking up research in the field of chemistry/chemistry, students should have a Master's degree in chemistry/chemical engineering or related fields.
• Students should clear entrance exams like JEE Main/JEE Advanced, state-level designing entrance exam, GATE, and so on for the admission to Chemical Engineering course.
• For the B.Sc course in Chemistry, there will be no entrance test in most of the colleges in India.
