Can I do diploma in polytechnic after doing 12th in humanities stream also simultaneously pursuing Bachelor of arts?

You will be eligible for this course if you have studied Mathematics, Science and English in your class 10th. Mathematics and Science are the most important subjects the colleges take into account. Your score in these two subjects will be considered and if it is a decent score then you will be given admission. However, the minimum score required for admission might vary from college to college. Polytechnic diploma or vocational program in which an institute concentrates on providing technical education. Commonly, polytechnic courses are  3-year programs after fulfilment of which aspirants receive a certificate. Polytechnic also enables learners to begin their careers by earning promising employment at a respected corporation. Maximum institutes administer polytechnic programs largely in civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.

Eligibility - Indian National aspirant who achieved a 40% score or more in the qualifying examination is considered eligible. Mathematics, Science & English are regarded to be mandatory subjects for diploma courses.

Admission is mostly based on merit. Your score in class 10th or 12th will decide your admission into this course.
